In possibly the best idea James Dolan has had lately, the controversial owner of the New York Knicks and Rangers has invited some of his best-known employees to help him try to break the world kazoo record before the Eagles’ concert Thursday night at Madison Square Garden.

Yes, there is a world kazoo record.

Dolan has asked Carmelo Anthony, Amar’e Stoudamire and Henrik Lundqvist to join him, along with John McEnroe.

It’s a twist on the Ice Bucket Challenge, with Dolan pledging $100,000 to the ALS Association if 6,000 people join him and his band, JD and the Straight Shot, before the Eagles show. Each audience member will be given a kazoo to play during “Governor’s Blues,” which features a kazoo solo (natch).
