Lundqvist held the Bruins to two goals on 29 shots in Wednesday’s 5-2 victory.

With AHL-grade goalie Zane McIntyre starting on the other end, the Rangers had a major goaltending edge on paper Wednesday, and it translated to the ice. Things weren’t looking so hot in the opening period, though — David Pastrnak scored on Lundqvist just 10 seconds into the game, and Boston held a 2-0 lead at the first intermission. He’s now won three straight starts with three nearly identical stat lines against three very different teams in the Capitals, Coyotes and Bruins. The ol’ save percentage is still a bit low at .907 due to some rough-edged outings early on, but it’s sure to come up in no time.
