With a pushback and a scoring surge, the Rangers seem to be back on track.

One night after showing better physicality and energy in a win over the Lightning, the Rangers broke out for five goals on Tuesday night to top the Panthers, 5-2, at BB&T Center. The first four came within the first 33:14 of the game, the fourth chasing Florida goaltender James Reimer to the bench, and Pavel Buchnevich added an empty-netter.

Henrik Lundqvist made a season-high-tying 43 saves in an excellent performance, 21 of them coming in the third as he took sole possession of 10th place on the all-time wins list with No. 404, passing Grant Fuhr.
