Lundqvist (knee) has decided not to play for Team Sweden in the 2018 World Championship next month.
New York Rangers goaltender Henrik Lundqvist and his foundation, the Henrik Lundqvist Foundation, donated $12,000 directly to the Humboldt Broncos Jr. ‘A’ Hockey Club.
“From the start of the season, it was fine. It felt good. Then got bumped into early on, late October or November,” Lundqvist said
Henrik Lundqvist and others made posts on social media following the end of the season.
Lundqvist said “for us who were there, we want to play a really strong game for ourselves but for that reason. They got a big win at a crucial time and it hurt. We are going to play a desperate and really good team tomorrow so we will need everything.”
Any team with one of the five best goalies on the planet can hang around in the playoff race.
Hint: It doesn’t involve bottoming out.
“Good luck. I’m not doing that. Not a chance I’m doing that.”
Lundqvist weighs in on the current season and gives advice to the younger players
Will play for first time since March 10, but Vigneault says Alexandar Georgiev will play again.
